Bus Sign Blind Spot „Angles Morts“ France

Blind spots (also called blind angles) have caused many accidents: The bus driver could not see the bike or car next to him, whereas the bike rider or car driver did not know they were invisible to the bus driver. In order to prevent this kind of accidents, France has implemented a new traffic act – Code de la route R.313-32-1 – which is effective since 1 January, 2021.

From 2021 on, busses must be equipped with a “blind spot sign” when they enter a city centre. This sign reads “Angles Morts” (French for blind spots) and needs to have a special design and colour scheme. Our blind spot sign for busses conforms to the French specifications.

Important notes on the reusable signs with microsuction structure on the rear

The adhesive reusable film does not adhere to the substrate as strongly as the magnetic film. Therefore, it is very important to make sure the surface is completely clean and smooth before the application of the slightly adhesive sign. Otherwise, there is the risk of losing the sign on the road. It is also recommended to use the sign only when needed and to avoid any trips with the signs attached when they actually are not required (e. g. on motorways).
