3M™ Scotchlite™ High Intensity Grade SOLAS Series 3150-A was designed for applications onto life-saving devices such as life vests, jackets and rafts in a maritime context. The aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive guarantees a strong bonding to various materials (aluminium, glass reinforced polyester (GRP), rubber, vinyl/PVC, polyurethane).

Life-saving devices do not only need to have properties that help persons to stay afloat during emergencies. Another vital requirement is a superb visibility in nighttime and bad weather situations. The 3M™ Scotchlite™ 3150A tape is silver in colour and reflects bright white over a wide range of entrance angles. This helps rescue forces to better locate survivors, no matter whether they approach the scene by boat or helicopter.

The material utilises the principle of retroreflection and is comprised of an encapsulated lens optical design that provides high reflectivity when dry or wet. Please note:The tape is sold by the metre. By selecting 12 metres, you will receive a roll with 12 metres on it. The maximum length for a roll is 45 metres. If you order 100 metres, you will receive 2 rolls of 45 metres and one roll of 10 metres.
