What You Need to Know About Danish and German Marker Panels for Heavy Goods Vehicles

Heavy Haulage transports require special panels which signalise the potential hazard of the abnormal freight. In German-speaking countries, you will find the plate “Schwertransport”, whereas in Denmark the plate for HGV says “Saertransport”.

The reflective film used for the panels offers basic reflectivity (RA1) due to its glass bead construction. Thus, the warning panel is easier to recognise, even when it is dark or in other poor light conditions.

Both plates have a rigid aluminium base and measure 900 x 300mm.
