This “A” sign consists of a horizontally folding aluminium plate with RA1/A reflective film from German manufacturer Orafol^® and can be ordered with or without edge protection.

When transporting waste or debris in Germany, vehicles need the so-called “A plate” to make other road users aware of the special load.

Our waste transport plate conforms to German regulations and needs to be attached to the front and to the rear of the vehicle.

As per German law, you have to cover or remove the plate if the vehicle does not carry any waste. The plate can be folded over and locked in position when not in use.
