3M Conspicuity Tape 983 fluor

3M Diamond Grade Conspicuity Tape 983 is a fluorescent microprismatic reflective film for marking the outlines of emergency vehicles, trucks, and trailers/semi-trailers.

Width: 53.5 mm (fluorescent yellow 983-21), 50.8 mm (fluorescent lime 983-23)
Lengths: 5 m, 10 m, 25 m, 45.7 m
Colours: fluorescent yellow (983-21), fluorescent lime (983-23)
Reflectivity class: RA3/C
Standards: ECE 104 Class C (only fluorescent yellow 983-21; fluorescent lime 983-23 has no ECE 104 approval!)

Features of 3M Conspicuity Tape 983 fluorescent:

• permanently self-adhesive, for rigid sided lorries
• durability: 8 years
• film thickness: 0.36 mm (rigid)
• application temperature (substrate and ambient): +10 °C to +38 °C
• temperature resistance: -34 °C to +94 °C
• adheres to painted, smooth surfaces; apply only on flat substrates and in dry conditions (do not overlap the tape)
• edge sealing recommended at cut edges (longitudinal edges are already sealed)
• resistant to petrol fumes and occasional petrol spillage
